Knit Batik Fabrics are comfortable, and easy to sew. You can sew Knit fabric on a regular sewing machine, using a universal (general purpose) needle. There is no need to finish your seams, as knit does not ravel. Batik Knit Fabric is perfect for many apparel needs. We offer are a wide range of wonderful colors and designs. Each Knit Batik Fabric is hand dyed by artists in Indonesia. Our Batik Knit fabrics are 100% Cotton with a one-way stretch and colorfast (safe for machine wash and dry). The Batik Knits fabrics are 72" wide!
When calculating yardage needs, remember that Knit Batik Fabrics can shrink up to 3" per yard.
We do have a conversion chart for the Knit patterns, however, you will simply order the length you are needing + shrinkage.
